2. Those professionals who have been nominated to the Barcelona Prize of cinema, the Goya, the European Academy, the French Academy, the English Academy, the Italian Academy or the Academy of Hollywood can become numerary members as well.
3. Becoming a numerary member is also possible for those film professionals that don’t fulfill the requirements written above but the Board of Academy Executives decides he or she deserves to become a member. These cases will be studied by its correspondent commission, which will write a non-binding report, and then it will be submitted to the Board of Academy Executives’ approbation.
4. All foundational members are numerary members of the Academy.
5. Catalonian professionals from the exhibiting and distributing branches that fulfill the following requirements can be Academy members as well.
1. The exhibitor or distributor company needs to be registered at the REAC, ICIC.
2. Independent distributing companies must have distributed at least three feature films on the theatres during the last three years, or have been nominated to the Gaudí Awards.
3. Commercial distributor companies must have distributed at least one Catalonian film in the last two years.
4. Exhibitors need to have screened at their theaters at least five Catalonian movies.
5. Professionals who can become members:
a. Theater owner or person who is assigned by the legal representative of the company.
b. General director.
c. In the case that the exhibitor is the owner of more than one theater, we admit one general director from each theater.
6. Documentation we need:
a. Application letter signed by the candidate.
b. Letter from the company’s representative proving that the candidate manages the exhibitor company.
c. Photocopy of the REAC’s register, from the ICIC.

Associated members can belong to different branches such as artistic, technical, literary, journalistic or industrial. The Board of Academy Executive will be the only competent organ to admit those members, leaving the selection criteria to its own decision.
